General scope

The first 10 years of the 21st century are a period of extreme significance of Vietnam along its way to industrialization and modernization. with its own role in the national economy, Khanh Hoa has shifted its economic structure in the orientation of

 industry, tourist services, and agriculture. Khanh Hoa’s task is to build Nha Trang into a tourist and convalescence center, a center of education and training, and a cultural and scientific center, not only of the province but of the Southern Central Vietnam and the Western Highlands as well.

Khanh Hoa’s socio-economic development is closely connected with other localities in the vicinity, the major cities in Southern Vietnam, and major industrial zones so as to attract external investment capital together with new technology to support the economic structure shift. In the cooperation for development, it is positive to speed up the establishment of Vn Phong and Cam Ranh economic areas and exploit effectively these two economic hubs to attract investment for socio-economic development.
